Chapter 20

Yay... I got up to the 20s in chapter numbers! :D It seems like I should be further along just because I have been working on this novel for so long. I have started and re-started so many times... but knowing you all were reading pushed me to keep writing, so thanks for your helpful comments over the past few months! Finishing the first draft will be a big step, then I'll basically be taking the whole thing apart and putting it back together during the editing process... and I have been saving your comments to help me out with that process. I once saw a quote that said "writing is re-writing". The first draft is just the foundation, a shadow of the finished product. So if you are a writer and are unsatisfied with your results, don't get discouraged because it won't be perfect the first time. Just keep editing and adjusting and don't give up on it. :)

  1. Ahh...I have no idea what to think of Julius, or Corineus for that matter! :) The only thing- on page 5- is when it says 'Corbin was standing stiff and straight, his fists clenched at his sides.' I believe that he had a torch in his hand, so I think maybe just re-wording that part would make more sense. But this is so amazing!

    1. Ohh thanks for pointing that out!
Thank you.... the next few chapters will reveal a lot about both Julius and Corineus. :)
