Chapter Two

I am so sorry it has taken me so long to post the second chapter! Right after I posted the first, I had an idea for a change to the next few chapters, and it took a little while to actual happen, especially with school!! But don't worry! The first draft of Chapter 2 is ready! :) I'll try to continue posting every Monday still. If you haven't read Chapter 1 yet, you should be able to scroll down and see my previous post, or check under the Blog Archive to the right.

An important character in this chapter is named Julius, and I have cast him as Bradley James.

Chapter One

Happy Labor Day! I know for some of you this is your last day before school starts... so I hope this week is a smooth transition for you!

As I said in my first post, I am just finishing the rough draft of my book, so this is by no means the finished product. Here are some things I encourage you to look for while reading.

1. Spelling or grammar errors I may have missed

2. Sentence structure problems. In other words, if a sentence doesn't make sense or could be clearer.

3. Not enough detail. If a particular scene lacks detail, for instance if you are having trouble envisioning what is happening.

4. If you have ideas for scenes I could add in (or take out).

5. This novel is fictional with fictional people and places, but I have a medieval time frame in mind while writing. So if there is anything that you think goes against the general medieval feel, let me know!

These are just ideas. I am sharing this with you as a step in the polishing process of my novel, so please share any ideas or critiques you have. :)

In this chapter, one of the characters you will meet is Alys (pronounced Alice).
